The developers are asking for waivers from everything from building height to lot coverage to setbacks—waivers that residents would likely not receive. Long-time residents—half of which are seniors—will lose the residence they’ve called home for the last 10–15 years. Where else can they go in Belvedere? This project raises many more questions than answers.
